How to play trivia on Quizpato
Quizpato is free trivia in English and Spanish, sports first, plus science, history, art, geography and entertainment. You can play right now without an account: today's daily trivia, any of the six categories, the Mix or Pato's dial. Every answer comes with the story behind it, and when you want company, you can challenge a friend with a link. Here's everything, from the 30-second clock to the Golden Duck league.
The basics: one question, 30 seconds
Every question has four options and one right answer. Pick yours before the clock runs out; when time's up, it counts as a miss.
30 seconds per question
The clock runs on our side, so a reload doesn't reset it. Leaving mid-question counts as a miss.
The answer, explained
Right or wrong, you see the correct answer and a short explanation right away.
The story behind it
Every question comes from a story with real, sourced facts. One tap takes you to it.
No account to play

How challenges work →
Scoring: XP, streaks and rating
With a free account, every answer counts toward three things.
XP
Every right answer earns XP, and harder questions earn more. A miss never takes XP away. Your XP sets your level and your place in this week's league.
Daily streak
Answer at least one question a day to keep your streak going. Every 5 days you bank a streak freeze (up to 2) that covers one missed day.
Rating
The global leaderboard uses a rating that goes up with right answers, down with misses, and cools off when you stop playing.
Weekly leagues: from Egg to Golden Duck
Every week you play in a league of up to 30 fans, ranked by the XP you earn that week. When the week ends (Monday, 00:00 UTC), the top 7 move up a level and the bottom 7 move down. Everyone starts in Egg.

Medals and trophies
Each category has its own medal, earned with right answers in that category.
- Bronze: 10 right answers
- Silver: 50 right answers
- Gold: 150 right answers
Trophies are for everything else: streaks, perfect dailies, league climbs and more. They show up in your trophy case and on your public profile, with your duck.
