How a challenge works

    Pick a category or the Mix and answer 7 questions, 30 seconds each, easiest first. Your score stays hidden until your friend finishes.

  2. 2. Send the link

    You get a short link and a message ready to paste into WhatsApp, a group chat or anywhere else.

  3. 3. See who wins

    Your friend plays the same 7 questions. Then you both see the scores side by side, question by question.

The rules

Short, fair and the same for both of you.

  • 7 questions, the same for both

    A mix of difficulties: two easy, three medium and two hard, played from easiest to hardest.

  • 30 seconds each

    The clock runs on our side for both players, so nobody gets extra time by reloading.

  • Most right answers wins

    If you tie on right answers, the faster total time wins. Same score and same time is a tie.

  • No peeking

    Your score and answers stay hidden until your friend finishes, so they can't play to a target.

  • 48 hours to play

    A challenge link lasts 48 hours. After that it expires and you can start a new one.

  • Rematch

    Lost? Ask for a rematch: a new challenge the other way round, where your friend plays first.

Questions about challenges

Does my friend need an account?

No. Your friend opens the link and plays right away. You don't need one to create a challenge either; an account just saves your challenges to your profile.

Can I challenge several friends with one link?

Each link is for one friend: the first person to start it plays. To challenge the whole group, send each friend their own challenge, or share today's daily trivia, where everyone plays the same 10 questions.

Can we play in different languages?

Yes. Challenges only use questions written in both English and Spanish, so each of you plays the same question in your own language.

How long does a challenge last?

48 hours from when you create it. If your friend doesn't play in time, it expires and you can send a new one.

Is it free?

Yes. Challenges, the daily trivia and every category are free to play.
