Data Deletion

Until in-app account deletion is available, email hello@quizpato.com or use our contact form at www.quizpato.com/contact, with the subject "Delete my data":

• Send the request from (or include) the email address of your Quizpato account, so we can verify it's you.
• Tell us whether you want your entire account deleted, or only specific data (for example, your profile image).

We may need to further verify your identity before acting on the request, to protect your account. You can also remove some data yourself at any time: change your alias, remove your profile image, make your public profile private, or turn off push notifications in your settings.

When you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymize:

• Your account and sign-in record.
• Your profile — alias, profile image, favorite categories, settings, and public profile page.
• Your gameplay history — answers, scores, XP, streaks, rating, league placement, achievements, and your question votes and reports.
• Your notifications and push subscriptions.
• Contact messages tied to your email address, unless we must keep them to resolve a dispute.

We may keep limited information where the law allows or requires it — for example, to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer identify you (such as overall answer statistics for a question) may be retained. Data held by our analytics and error-monitoring providers is deleted according to their own retention schedules.

We action verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backups are purged on our regular backup rotation shortly after.
